So the topic of conversation today has been my 6 minutes of fame on GB News this week!  Haha.

I wasn’t going to post about it, but it’s only fair you are all in on the conversation in the salon!  Plus it’s a little bit of comedy to finish the year off.

I wanted to confirm following the topic of the interview – we are all good in the salon at the moment and want to thank you all for spending your hard earned cash with us – which allows us to pay these ridiculous costs AND stay in business.

Things you can do for us that cost nothing (or for any local business);

Did you know that Social Media reach (unless you pay) for a business is only 1%? There are tips and tricks you can do to boost that, but in general it’s about 1-3% (unless you pay).

• • • • So share share share.
      • Go to their/our social pages, share, like, love, tag or even better comment
      • Leave a Google review (this is where the robots will look, when a new person Googles ‘haircut Witham’)
      • Tell your friends about them/us – forward our emails
      • Take a selfie and tag yourself, use the ‘check in’ option
      • In a restaurant?  Take a pic of the food and tag them
      • In the gym?  Take a selfie and tag them
      • Had great service? Pop a post on your own social walls telling your friends how great that business is.

It’s a tough road for everyone, but I salute anyone who is in business at this time.
